Product Description:
ROYAL STONE® is an inert, non-porous, homogenous blend of UV inhibited polyester-acrylic resin, and randomly dispersed polyester-acrylic and natural minerals as fillers. Combined in exacting proportions, they create a solid surfacing material that has the appearance and ruggedness of natural stone. Unlike natural stone, ROYAL STONE® can be fabricated into its finished form with conventional woodworking tools and bonding techniques.

Applications:
The ease of fabrication allows for a virtually limitless array of applications for ROYAL STONE®.Conventional applications for commercial, residential, food service, hospitals, laboratory, military, and health care environments include: countertops, sinks, furniture, architectural signage, molding, windowsills, and more.

Standard Sheet Goods:
ROYAL STONE© sheet goods are available in all standard colors, in 7 standard sheet sizes and 5 standard sheet thickness'. In addition to the 1/2" thick material, ROYAL STONE© is manufactured in 1/4", 3/8", 3/4" and 1" thick sizes. Standard sheet sizes are 30" x 144", 30" x 72", 33" x 144", and 4.75" x 144", in the 1/2", 1/4", and 3/8" thick material. In the 3/4" and 1" thick material, the standard sizes are 30" x 72", 33 x 72", and 6" x 144".

Custom Sheets:
Custom sheets (sized to 48" wide and 144" long) can minimize waste and/or labor (eliminating long seams) while maximizing the cost effectiveness of a solid surface installation. Multiple countertops for hotel, motel, apartments or office buildings, can be manufactured with sink holes cast in place, saving material as well as fabrication and installation labor. Additional cost of custom sized sheets is nominal, and have no minimum order requirements.

CustomThickness:
Custom thickness sheets from 1/4" up are available. Unique applications may require nonstandard thicknesses. For example; a table leg turned from a 4" x 4" single piece of solid surface, saves labor and adhesive. Additional cost of custom thickness sheets is nominal, with no minimum size order requirements.

Tolerances:
Dimensional sheet goods tolerances are held to +0.25" minimum and -0.000". All sheet thickness' are held to ± 0.010".

Color Matched Integral Sinks:
To create a totally integrated solid surface installation with ROYAL STONE® countertops, ROYAL STONE® manufactures solid surface sinks for kitchen and lavatory applications in all 48 of its standard colors. All sinks are finished with ROYAL STONE® True Edge# bond ready, bonding edge that is flat to ± 0.005". Sinks meeting ADA requirements are available.

Three Dimensional Items:
Special order Three Dimensional shapes(3-D shapes), such as architectural columns, can be obtained through ROYAL STONE®.

Colors:
ROYAL STONE®is available in several standard colors, grouped into four categories. There is no difference in the quality, durability, reparability, or performance of products from one color series to another.

Custom Colors:
At no minimum quantity requirement ROYAL STONE® can duplicate all other solid surface brand's current colors. Once the color match is approved, ROYAL STONE® can produce sheet goods, sinks, and custom sizes in the matching colors. One-of-a-kind custom colors can be formulated to meet the users need and requirements. Whether matching a corporate color or special color scheme, ROYAL STONE® chemist can create the desired look. Color formulation fees are nominal and apply to updating existing formulas as well as new color formulations.

Finish:
ROYAL STONE® is shipped to the fabricator with a sanded face (to 60 micron) and sanded back (to 60 grit). The fabricator imparts the final finish (matte, satin, or gloss) to the ROYAL STONE® surface as specified.

Weight:
ROYAL STONE®has an average weight of approximately 4.3 pounds per square foot per 1/2" thickness.

Special Effects:
Corporate logos, simple to complex designs, and accent striping are easily incorporated into an installation with routing or sandblasting. Consistent coloring and texturing throughout the material retains ROYAL STONE® appearance. The removed material can be left unfilled or can be filled with ROYAL STONE® inlay Resin and Coloring Kit, making the design an integral part of the ROYAL STONE® surface. Most fabricators can create coved backsplashes, contrasting borders, drip less marine edges, etc. The possibilities are endless.

Stain and Chemical Resistance:
When fabricated to ROYAL STONE® fabrication guidelines, the finished installation is free from any porous seams or voids as is common with grouted tile, granite or marble. ROYAL STONE® is unaffected by food stains and common disinfectants. Stubborn stains from cigarette burns, dyes, marking pens, etc. can easily be removed with a mild abrasive cleaner and a 3-M Scotch Brite ® pad.*

Class 1 Flammability Rating:
All ROYAL STONE® standard colors, when ignited are self extinguishing, will supress smoke generation and have a Class 1 Flammability Rating.

Hygienic:
ROYAL STONE® is a chemically inert, hypoallergenic, non-porous, nontoxic material that will not support the growth of fungi, mildew and bacteria. Thus, ROYAL STONE® is ideally suited for environmental applications requiring sanitary conditions, for example; food service areas, hospitals, health care facilities, public spaces, doctors offices, etc. ROYAL STONE® meets or exceeds the National Sanitation Foundation's Standard 51 for plastic materials used in food preparation equipment.

Cleaning, Maintenance, & Repair:
General cleaning of ROYAL STONE® can be done with soap and water, ammonia based liquid cleaners (glass cleaner), and most conventional nonabrasive household or industrial cleaners. Surface scratches, dents and superficial burns as well as stubborn stains from cigarette burns, dyes, marking pens, etc. can easily be removed.
To enhance the visual color intensity of ROYAL STONE® countertops and/or to hide minor scuffs and scratches, apply a light coat of Countertop Magic® and wipe away excess with a soft cloth. Countertop Magic® is recommended for maintaining and cleaning all countertops. It cleans without streaking and is safe on all food handling surfaces. It is available in a convenient 13 oz aerosol can available from your ROYAL STONE® Certified Fabricator/Installer or from ROYAL STONE®.
Damage to ROYAL STONE® such as chips, deep cuts or scratches, cracks or burns can easily be repaired by a ROYAL STONE® Certified Fabricator-Craftsman to restore its original look and finish.

ROYAL STONE® carries a complete line of RoyalBond joint adhesive, Patch Kits, Inlay Resin, Coloring Kits, Sanding and Finishing materials, and an extensive array of items necessary to meet a diverse assortment of fabrication and application needs.

Warranty:
All ROYAL STONE® sheet goods carry a 10 year written warranty on interior residential applications when properly fabricated and installed by a currently qualified ROYAL STONE® Certified Fabricator-Craftsman. Sinks carry a 3 year written warranty on interior residential applications when properly fabricated and installed by a currently qualified ROYAL STONE® Certified Fabricator-Craftsman. Exterior sheet goods applications carry a 5 year limited warranty, and sink applications carry a 2 year limited warranty for most applications.

Specifying ROYAL STONE®:
Provide ROYAL STONE® surfaces as shown on the drawings and specifications herein.
Materials: ROYAL STONE® sheets shall be as supplied by ROYAL STONE® Industries, Inc., Phoenix, Arizona, and shall be cut to size, seamed and detailed in accordance with approved shop drawings showing accurate dimensions. Colors and finish shall be as specified herein (or specify:_________ ).
Fabrication & Installation: The fabrication and installations of all ROYAL STONE® surfaces detailed in this section shall be performed by a currently qualified ROYAL STONE® Certified Fabricator-Craftsman in accordance with the manufacturer's printed guidelines and instructions, and final approved shop drawings.
