ADA Compliant Collapsible Water Barrier
Collapsible Water Barrier is an accessory item sold seperately

The Collapsible Water Barrier is designed to impede the flow of water from the front of Royal Stone's barrier free shower pan. Available in White, the 7/8" wide by 1" tall, flexible, resilient rubber barrier adheres to the top front edge of the shower pan with a pressure sensitive adhesive. The Collapsible Water Barrier Kit includes a 60" length of tubing and two molded rubber end fittings that conform to the contour of the right and left sides of the shower pan and insert into and close the open ends of the collapsible rubber tube.

Installing the Collapsible Water Barrier
Using a razor blade or utility knife, trim the rubber fittings to fit snugly against the vertical walls of the shower enclosure. Adhered the fittings to the pan with silicone. Once in place, the tubing is trimmed to fit the opening. To install the tubing, beginning at one end, place a small amount of silicone into the tube, and remove about a 6" portion of the protective strip covering the adhesive on the tube. Place the tubing over the mating end of the rubber end fitting. Once the tube is snugly against the shoulder of the fitting, press the tube down against the shower base. Peel and press the tube across the entire opening. At the opposite end of the tube add the silicone inside the opening and insert into the fitting. Should any silicone squeeze out from between the tube and end fitting, spray with alcohol and then wipe away the excess silicone with a paper towel or cloth.
